Travel Documents at Malpensa Airport


Passengers are required to provide proof of ID in order to be allowed to check in, the most common form of ID for international travels is a valid passport; however, in certain instances, passengers are allowed to travel by using their ID cards as a valid form of identification, if in doubt, check with your airline or booking agent before setting off to the airport. If travelling outside of the EU, passengers may require a valid visa for the duration of their stay; ensure that you have all the relevant documentation.

There are a number of countries which whilst they are EU members, they have not signed up/ are not members of the Schengen agreement, these are:
