Travelling with Animals from Malpensa Airport

Passengers wishing to travel with animals must consult their airline or travel agent to make prior arrangements before arriving at the airport. There are numerous airlines specialising in transporting animals.

Passengers must check if any health certificates, documents and/or quarantine are required in the destination country.

Animals must be placed in adequate crates which will prevent the animal from escaping as well as being strong enough that it won’t break.

Prior to making any trips with pets, it is worth consulting your vet as to whether there is a possibility of using any sedatives on the animal prior to the trip to avoid any extra stress.
