Travel Services
Within Madrid Airport’s Departures and Arrivals areas, there are international car rental desks, medical assistance points (and defibrillators), left luggage office, VAT refund desk, tourist offices, banks, currency exchange desks, cash point machines, chapels, post office, mosque, oratory, petrol station and police station within the airport compound. Wifi is available in the terminal buildings and additionally there are 99 internet access terminals. There are also designated meeting points and a RENFE office for mainline railway enquiries.
Disabled Facilities
Madrid Airport complies with all the regulations to provide access and facilities for disabled persons. A relatively recent innovation, however, has been to introduce flight status information via mobile phone message to assist the visually impaired in accessing these details.
For The Kids
Madrid Airport’s Terminal 2 has a large children’s playground for the kids to enjoy. There is also a staffed nursery where parents can bathe their children, change nappies, heat up food, let children nap in the cots provided or simply play with their babies and toddlers.
