Barcelona Airport Transportation


If you are not hiring a car or a private airport transfer, then the following transportation options are available to you to and from Barcelona Airport:

Buses

There are many different buses arriving into and depart out of Barcelona Airport. Within the compound they stop at the Cargo Terminal, Terminal 2B (Departures), Terminal 2C, Terminal 1 (Departures) and Terminal 1 (Arrivals).

EMT Barcelona runs regular bus services between Barcelona Airport and Placa Espanya (Barcelona centre), Placa Catalunya (Barcelona centre), Sant Joan Despi and El Prat de Llobregat.

ALSA runs regular bus services between Barcelona Airport and nearby cities of Figueres, Girona and Lleida.
From Terminals 1 and 2, buses run from Barcelona Airport to Andorra.

From Terminal 1, buses run from Barcelona Airport to Tarragona, La Pineda, Port Aventura, Salou, Cambrils, Reus, Bellvitge, Ribes, Sitges, Rocamar, Roquetas, Vilanova, Cubelles, Cunit, Segur, Calafell and El Vendrell.

From Terminal 2, buses run from Barcelona Airport to the popular resorts of Lloret de Mar and Tossa de Mar on the Costa Brava.
There is also a private Aerobus service running from the Terminal buildings at Barcelona Airport into the centre of the city, terminating at Placa Catalunya. www.aerobusbcn.com.

 

Taxis

There are large taxi ranks located outside each terminal building: Terminal 1 (Arrivals), Terminal 2, one each outside areas A, B and C.

 

Trains

At Barcelona Airport, there is a train station in Terminal 2, with train connections to Barcelona Sants and Passeig de Gracia railway stations in Barcelona. A shuttle bus is available to transport passengers from Terminal 1 to the train station in Terminal 2 and vice versa. www.renfe.es.
